Welcome to XiaoZhu ("we", "us", or "our"), a lightweight emotional companion app available on Google Play (the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Service, including all features, content, and functionality made available through the app. By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you ("you" or "user") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
To use the Service, you must be at least 13 years of age. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 13 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use the Service. We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Service if we discover that you are under 13.
When you use the Service, we will automatically generate a non-identifiable account for you, including a random username and default avatar. You may modify your username (limited to 1-20 characters, no special symbols) once every 30 days and change your avatar from our default avatar library (custom avatar upload is not allowed).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.

The Service offers premium subscription plans (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual) available for purchase through Google Play. By purchasing a premium subscription, you agree to pay the applicable fees (as displayed on Google Play) and acknowledge that your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage your subscription (including turning off auto-renewal, canceling your subscription) at any time through your Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the app will not cancel your subscription. We do not process subscription cancellations or refunds directly; all subscription-related payments and refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with its policies.
Premium subscribers will unlock all features of the Service, including unlimited chats, voice responses, record exports, and no functional restrictions. We reserve the right to modify or update premium benefits at any time, with prior notice to users.
Refunds for premium subscriptions are subject to Google Play's Refund Policy. If you are eligible for a refund, please contact Google Play Support directly. We do not issue refunds for any subscription payments processed by Google Play.
All intellectual property rights in the Service (including but not limited to the app, logo, text, images, features, and code) are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You shall not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content or features provided through the Service. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or other intangible losses.
